Our primary efforts are operationalized through collaborations, alignments, and our own signature programs that fall into our three main gears of movement building.
Evidence works to fill gaps on data about the state and role of youth.
Action is centered around programming that work to aid others to achieve youth equity.
Advocacy is focused on raising awareness about the need to invest in our future with youth.
The Youth Assembloids Case Competition is a case competition concept designed as a series of miniature assemblies, or "assembloids," for youth and professionals to convene and develop solutions to the critical challenges for achieving youth equity, inspired by "SDG 18." This competition will be the first of its kind that will create a roadmap for institutions embarking on meeting “SDG 18” for the time while critically analyzing an institution’s current plans to meet the next Global Goals.
Cast 4ward is a program concept designed to leverage existing art programming to teach sustainable development and enable youth to generate wealth by selling their physical or digital art through traditional income and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This is to aim for a shift from exposure to exchange in knowledge, duty, and responsibility. As such, an action-oriented pedagogy is developed to support self-directed continuous learning, participative and collaborative application as well as the linking of education and practice.
SDG 18 Youth Equity: “SDG 18 Youth Equity” is Global Futurist Initiative's current advocacy campaign to prioritize youth in global agendas. Over the past decade before Global Futurist Initiative was even a concept, youth activists have been working hard to build an agenda for making youth issues a priority and defining what it means to achieve this goal.
