The UNECE ESD Forum aspires to serve as a bridge of cooperation and a communication platform on the issues of Education for Sustainable Development, providing insights and examples of how ESD contributes to the integration of sustainability practices into entrepreneurship education. Discussions will explore how to ensure that innovations and entrepreneurship can meaningfully contribute to fostering the conditions for a sustainable future. The forum outcomes will feed into the consultations and discussions in the lead up to the upcoming Summit of the Future.

This event aims to provide a common platform for participants to network and hear from speakers on addressing the rapid changes in technology, education, and policies that affect climate action and environmental stewardship.

Promoted intergenerational fairness through dialogues and solutions-building thought experiments.  We the panelists facilitated round table discussions and not only shared what our tables crafted but *radically!* listened to what many groups created as pathways forward towards our shared vision.   

Raising awareness about elevating youth voices in the consultation process of the Pact for the Future and Declaration on Future Generations.

Raising awareness about environmental rights during the United Nations Civil Society Conference.

Raising awareness about the importance of a gender response in the Informational and Communications Technology sector.

Global Futurist Initiative presents for MUN Impact, a youth-led network working to leverage the power of the Model United Nations community to advance the SDGs through youth engagement, Model UN, and advocacy. 

 Global Futurist Initiative joins the Major Group for Children and Youth consultations for the United Nations Summit of the Future alongside the Informal Youth for Future Working Group.

 Global Futurist Initiative participates in a United Nations consultation on the Summit of the Future's inclusivity of youth and future generations. The team also submitted written inputs for the UN's Zero Draft Pact for the Future and the Declaration on Future Generations.
